Friends of Cyrus provides services to clients that foster independence, dignity, privacy, choice, and individuality. Services are provided in a safe and dignified manner that assists the client to maintain the highest level of physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.
Our goals are to care for each client as if they were members of our own family, and to support for our employees in order to help them succeed in their roles and foster community relationships that promote fellowship and understanding of our clients and our community.
Friends of Cyrus assists individuals with disabilities in improving quality of life, family life, self-perception, self-esteem, confidence, ability to gain and retain employment, the ability to live in their home, ability to decrease depression, anxiety, and other mental health concerns, for more successful outcomes.
Friends of Cyrus was founded in 2013 by Kamelia Kameli and Daren Singhani. Ms. Kameli is a veteran in the healthcare industry and the parent of an adult son with autism, acutely attuned to the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. Mr. Singhani is the former CEO of a healthcare staffing company with decades of executive management experience. Today, Friends of Cyrus provides services to children and adults across a variety of settings.
Friends of Cyrus maintains in-home services for children and adults throughout New Jersey, serving over 200 clients. With the addition of its brand new ABA clinic, Friends of Cyrus serves persons with developmental disabilities from 18 months old into adulthood.
