Educational Services

Friends of Cyrus strives to help learners become productive members of their communities. Towards this end, we develop and implement procedures that ensure successful transition from the student’s school to home instruction, and back to school in some cases. FOC works collaboratively with students, parents and school leadership /IEP teams to ensure that each child, commensurate with his or her educational and functional skills, maximizes educational and functional achievement. FOC serves students referred by their school districts. Home instruction may be scheduled during regular school hours or after school. A Home Instruction Teacher (Certfied Special Education Teacher) will be assigned to a case after the school district has authorized the service.
