14 Jun Kurt Jensen, MBA – Director of Residential Supports
Kurt joins Friends of Cyrus with nearly 20 years of operational management experience, both domestically and internationally, and brings a diverse skill set from his previous career.
After leaving the financial industry, Kurt discovered his passion for providing behavior analytic services to children and adults in home, school and residential settings. Having managed a residential program for adults with extremely challenging behaviors, Kurt has a deep understanding and empathy for the individuals living in this setting, as well as their families’ needs and desires.
In his most recent role, Kurt worked to improve the lives of individuals with autism, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and emotional, behavioral and cognitive differences. With experience in operations, marketing, and finance, Kurt is adept at streamlining business operations, setting up systems, analyzing data in order to make informed and strategic decisions. Additionally, Kurt is passionate about staff development, process improvement and customer satisfaction. He has an eye for efficiency and a knack for encouraging teamwork.
He holds his MBA from Norwick University and is currently pursuing his MS in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis. Upon completion, Kurt plans to sit for the BCBA exam.
