Dear Friends of Cyrus II Community,

I trust that you have all been informed about the recent fire incident at our Day Program in Medford. I am relieved to report that no one was harmed in this unfortunate event. We are working diligently to ensure that the building is repaired and back on track by January 1st.

In the meantime, I want to reassure you that all our participants are receiving day services from our other two locations in Tabernacle and Millstone. We remain committed to providing continuous support and ensuring a smooth transition for our individuals.First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the swift response from our local firefighters, first responders, and emergency services. Their bravery and dedication helped prevent a more devastating outcome.

I would also like to extend a very special thank you to my incredible team. Your dedication to coming together and going above and beyond during this challenging time truly fills me with appreciation. Your support and commitment make all the difference, and I am deeply grateful to have such a resilient team by my side. Additionally, I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to those who have reached out to us personally with their offers of support. Your kindness and concern mean a great deal to us.

I am also thrilled to announce that Husam Abdallah has returned to FOCII and resumed his previous and familiar position as the Executive Director. Sam is a veteran who has been through so much with our agency, and his introduction is unnecessary as everyone knows him well. He has already been in every home, met the staff, and the families. We are all delighted to welcome Sam back, and we are confident that his leadership and experience will be invaluable assets as we move forward.

We have faced our share of challenges over the years, especially in the past couple of years, but each experience has only strengthened our determination. I assure you that we are more resilient than ever, and I am confident that our agency will not only overcome this obstacle but will continue to thrive.
