Kamelia has been involved in the healthcare industry for more than fifteen years. She has led the business development projects of programs for children with disabilities, specialty nursing home units, medical adult day care, partial hospital programs and foreign nursing placements. She has extensive experience in developing fundraising campaigns, grant writing as well as community and political outreach.

Kamelia holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Counseling. She is also a Certified Assisted Living Administrator and a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Additionally, she is a Certified PCT Trainer (Personal Control and Defensive Techniques.) Kamelia also has an adult son with Autism.

Mr. Sandip Patel is responsible for financial planning and driving decisions that promote organizational growth. Through a deep understanding and analysis of financial and operating metrics, Mr. Patel leads strategic planning efforts for capital allocation at the functional and organizational level. Mr. Patel has over 14 years of extensive financial and managerial experience to draw upon, utilizing plan development, scalable strategies, and the construction of financial systems to facilitate the growth of our agency.

Prior to joining Friends of Cyrus II, Mr. Patel served in a number of leadership positions at firms such as Lehman Brothers’ Global Real Estate Group, Situs, and the Real Estate Finance Group at UBS Investment Bank. His wealth of knowledge and expertise in Financial Management make him an incredible asset to the Friends of Cyrus II Executive Team.
