Co-founded by a parent of a son with Autism, Friends of Cyrus II‘s mission is simple: to provide support services for adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities as if they were members of our own family.

Our dedicated team of caregivers and behavioral support specialists work closely with clients every day to strengthen their self-esteem, self-perception, and confidence. We believe in helping individuals build meaningful, independent lives by addressing the key components of mental well-being.

In addition, we place great emphasis on fostering strong relationships between our clients, their families, and the broader community. By equipping clients with the tools to actively engage with the world around them, and crafting individualized Behavior Plans tailored to their specific needs, we ensure they receive the support necessary to thrive.

Friends of Cyrus II was founded by Kamelia Kameli, a seasoned healthcare professional and the mother of an adult son with autism, alongside Daren Singhani, the former CEO of a healthcare staffing company. Kamelia’s son, Cyrus, who was diagnosed with autism at an early age, inspired the creation of the agency.

From the very beginning, Friends of Cyrus II has been driven by a clear mission: to provide a lifelong support network for individuals with disabilities. Today, the agency proudly supports hundreds of adults across the state of New Jersey, offering a range of services designed to enhance their quality of life and foster independence.
