Friends of Cyrus II Opening its 3rd Day Habilitation Program in Millstone Township, NJ
Friends of Cyrus II is proud to announce it’s expansion in Millstone Township with a brand new Adult Day Habilitation Program! With over 10,500 square-feet, this new program will provide various activities and lessons in order to continue to growth and success of individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
This new program will have the capacity to serve an upward of 60 adults with I/DD approved to receive DDD services.
Our incredible Day Habilitation team has developed numerous community integration programs and a full curriculum including: Basic Life Skills training, Horticulture, Cooking and Meal Preparation lessons, Indoor and Outdoor Recreation, Problem Solving Development, Pre-Vocational training, and so much more!
Utilizing mor than 2.5 acres of outdoor space, staff will provide program participants the opportunity to develop agricultural skills by learning how to cultivate vegetables, plants, and flowers. The Millstone program is nestled in the middle of a bustling and supportive community. Surrounding the program, there are many resources to advance and encourage creative arts which will also be an instrumental ingredient in our new Day Program.
