Friends of Cyrus II Opening its 2nd Day Habilitation Program in Tabernacle, NJ
Friends of Cyrus II could not be more excited to announce the opening of our brand new Day Habilitation Program in Tabernacle, NJ! Located in the heart of the Pine Barrens, this 13,000 sqft. facility on Carranza Road will provide support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) throughout Burlington County and beyond.
Friends of Cyrus II will have the capacity to serve an upward of 60 adults with I/DD approved to receive DDD services.
Our incredible Day Habilitation team has developed numerous community integration programs and a full curriculum including: Job skills training, job coaching, supported employment, creative arts, horticulture activities, cooking lessons, recreational activities, volunteering opportunities, and so much more!
Utilizing our 7 acres of outdoor space, staff will provide program participants the opportunity to develop agricultural skills by learning how to cultivate eggs, plants, and flowers. The Tabernacle Day Program will maintain 2 chicken coops housing up to 18 chickens, a green house, and several raised planting beds for flowers and herbs. So be sure to swing by our facility this summer to try our farm fresh eggs and produce!
